What to do if one of these numbers calls you

A number appearing here means other people have reported unwanted calls from it — but treat each entry as a caution, not proof: numbers can be spoofed, reassigned, or reported in error. If one of these numbers calls you, don't share bank details, passwords or one-time security codes, and if in doubt hang up and call the organisation back on a number you've verified yourself.

Block a reported number on your phone

• iPhone: open Phone → Recents, tap the (i) next to a reported number, scroll down and tap Block this Caller.
• Android: open the Phone app, press and hold a reported number in your recent calls, then tap Block / Report spam.
• Network level: EE, O2, Vodafone and Three all offer free spam-call blocking in their app or online account settings.

Report a reported number

• Scam texts: forward the message to 7726 (free) — it spells "SPAM" on the keypad — to report it to your mobile network.
• Scam or fraud calls: report to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 (England, Wales & NI) or Police Scotland on 101.
• Nuisance / marketing calls: report to the ICO and register with the free Telephone Preference Service (TPS) to reduce unsolicited sales calls.

How the ranking is built

Every number on this page is ranked from our own moderated community reports. When a visitor looks up a number on our UK Number Checker they can report the type of call they received — scam, spam, telemarketing, silent / robocall or unknown. We approve genuine reports, then rank each number by how many it has received, breaking ties by how often the number is looked up. Numbers reported only as legitimate are excluded, and the list rebuilds nightly. Mobile numbers are part-masked for privacy.
