- Remote lock — instantly lock the device with a PIN so nobody can access it
- Remote wipe — erase all business data from the device
- Locate — track the device location on a map (if location services are enabled)
- Disable — permanently disable the device so it cannot be reactivated
What happens to personal data?
If the device is a BYOD (personal device), MDM can selectively wipe only the business container, leaving personal photos, apps, and data untouched.
