MDM can manage a wide range of devices including smartphones (iPhone and Android), tablets (iPad, Samsung Galaxy Tab, etc.), laptops (Windows, macOS, ChromeOS), and even rugged devices used in warehousing and field operations.
Most modern MDM platforms support all major operating systems:
- Apple iOS and iPadOS — managed via Apple Business Manager integration
- Android — managed via Android Enterprise
- Windows 10/11 — managed via Microsoft Intune or other MDM platforms
- macOS — managed via Jamf or cross-platform MDM tools
