How to Set Up Call Forwarding on Android

Android phones let you set up call forwarding directly from the Phone app — no star codes required. The exact menu path varies slightly between manufacturers, so this guide covers both Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices as well as the universal star code method.

Call Forwarding on Samsung Galaxy

1. Open the Phone app.
2. Tap the three-dot menu (top right) and select Settings.
3. Tap Supplementary services (you may need to select your SIM first on dual-SIM models).
4. Tap Call forwarding.
5. Choose the type: Always forward, Forward when busy, Forward when unanswered, or Forward when unreachable.
6. Enter the destination phone number and tap Enable or Turn on.

Call Forwarding on Google Pixel

1. Open the Phone app.
2. Tap the three-dot menu and select Settings.
3. Tap Calling accounts, then select your SIM.
4. Tap Call forwarding.
