Broadband postcode checker — what's available at your address?

Check fixed-broadband, full-fibre, gigabit and superfast availability at any UK postcode in seconds — plus mobile signal for all four networks. Built on official Ofcom data, free, no sign-up. Then compare business broadband and leased lines for your site.

  • Official Ofcom Connected Nations data
  • Full-fibre, gigabit & superfast availability
  • Mobile signal for all 4 networks too
That doesn't look like a valid UK postcode.
Why our checker

One postcode, every connectivity answer

Most broadband checkers only tell you what one provider can sell you. Ours starts from the official Ofcom availability data for your exact postcode — so you see the real picture: how much of your area can get full fibre, gigabit, superfast, and how many premises are still stuck below the Universal Service Obligation.

Then we fold in mobile signal for all four networks, because the right answer for a site with poor fixed broadband is often 4G/5G failover — and we can quote both.

  • Real Ofcom data — the regulator's Connected Nations fixed-broadband dataset, not a single ISP's sales tool.
  • Business-first — full-fibre and leased-line availability front and centre, with a quote in two clicks.
  • Broadband + mobile in one — the only free UK checker that answers both for the same postcode.

No fixed broadband at your site?

A leased line guarantees symmetric gigabit speeds with an SLA, anywhere — even where full fibre hasn't arrived.

FAQ

Broadband availability — frequently asked questions

How do I check what broadband is available at my postcode?
Enter your full UK postcode above. We show fixed-broadband availability for that postcode from official Ofcom Connected Nations data — superfast (30 Mbit/s+), ultrafast (300 Mbit/s+), gigabit-capable and full-fibre coverage — plus mobile signal for all four networks. It’s free and needs no sign-up.
What is the difference between superfast, ultrafast, gigabit and full fibre?
Superfast is 30 Mbit/s or faster. Ultrafast is 300 Mbit/s+. Gigabit-capable means a line able to reach ~1,000 Mbit/s, usually full fibre (FTTP) or Virgin Media’s cable network. Full fibre (FTTP) runs fibre all the way to the premises — the most reliable, symmetric option for business.
Is the broadband data accurate for my exact address?
Ofcom’s data is modelled at postcode level, so it’s an excellent guide but not an address-by-address guarantee. Where we only hold district (outcode) figures for a sparse postcode, we say so. For a definitive, address-level answer — and the best price — request a quote and we’ll run a manual availability check.
My postcode has poor broadband — what are my options?
A leased line delivers guaranteed, symmetric speeds with an SLA anywhere in the UK, regardless of local full-fibre rollout. 4G/5G failover broadband is another option where mobile signal is strong. We can quote both — check your mobile signal above, then request a quote.
Where does this data come from and is it free to use?
Availability comes from Ofcom’s Connected Nations programme (the UK regulator’s official open dataset) combined with ONS/Ordnance Survey postcode location data. It’s licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. The checker is free, with no sign-up required to see results.
