What to Look For on Your Bill

When reviewing your mobile bill, pay attention to these key areas:

  • Plan charges: Your standard monthly fee and any device payments.
  • Out-of-bundle charges: Calls, texts or data used beyond your included allowance.
  • Roaming charges: Any usage while abroad that was not covered by your plan.
  • Premium services: Calls to premium-rate numbers, directory enquiries or shortcodes.
  • Third-party charges: Subscriptions or purchases billed through your mobile account.

How to Check Your Data Usage

Each network app shows your remaining data allowance on the home screen or under the usage section. You can also check directly on your device:

  • iPhone: Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Current Period to see data consumed since your last billing reset.
  • Android: Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Data Usage to view your mobile data consumption.

Business Tip: Regular Bill Audits Save Money

For business accounts, regular bill audits are essential. Our experience shows that companies who review their mobile bills monthly typically save 15–30% on their overall mobile costs. Look for unused allowances, lines that consistently go over their plans, and any premium charges that should not be there.
