What kind of number is 01553 456304?
01553 456304 is a UK geographic landline number for King's Lynn. Geographic codes (those starting 01 or 02) are tied to a specific town or region under Ofcom's National Telephone Numbering Plan, and this number block was originally allocated by Ofcom to DIDWW Ireland Limited.
Geographic numbers are used by homes and legitimate local businesses, but a recognisable area code is not proof a call is genuine: scammers routinely "spoof" a local number so an unknown caller appears to be a neighbour or nearby business. Judge a call on what is actually said, never on the area code alone.
Cost to call: Calls are charged at your provider's standard UK landline rate and are almost always covered by inclusive-minute call plans. There is no premium or service charge on geographic 01/02 numbers.
Is it safe to answer or call back 01553 456304?
Our automated assessment rates 01553 456304 as low risk based on its number type and range status. That is reassuring but not a guarantee — any number can be spoofed, so still treat unexpected requests for money or personal information as suspicious.

01553 456304 - spam/scammer call. My phone detected "Suspected Spam" but a I have received calls from this number before, I answered, male, middle eastern accent but decent English, they said they were from IPSOS and wanted me to help with feedback. I asked regarding what and he said "TV and TV shows", I advised I do not watch TV so unsure how I can help, he said ok, never mind and said goodbye, very polite and hung up.
I truly do not watch TV and do not hold a TV licence, so whether they are trying to catch people out who watch live TV/BBC without a licence ??
