The Sky Mobile voicemail number is 759 when calling from your Sky Mobile handset. You can also press and hold the 1 key on your keypad to ring voicemail directly. Sky Mobile runs on the O2 network, but it uses its own voicemail platform — so the O2 code (901) will not work on a Sky SIM.

How to Set Up Sky Mobile Voicemail

Voicemail is switched on automatically with a new Sky Mobile SIM. The first time you dial in:

1. Dial 759 from your Sky Mobile phone and press call.
2. Follow the prompts to record your name and a personal greeting.
3. Set a voicemail PIN if you want to pick up messages from another phone or from abroad. You must set the PIN while you are in the UK — it cannot be created once you are overseas.

A PIN is optional for listening from your own handset in the UK, but it is required for remote and roaming access, so it is worth setting up before you travel.

How to Listen to Sky Mobile Voicemail

Press and hold 1, or dial 759. New messages play first, followed by options to replay, save or delete. From another phone, ring your own Sky Mobile number, press * when the greeting starts, then enter your PIN. From abroad, dial +44 7488 222 000 and enter your PIN when prompted.

How to Change Your Sky Mobile Voicemail PIN or Greeting

Dial 759, then press 3 for settings. From there, press 1 to change your PIN, or follow the prompts to re-record your greeting. If you have forgotten your PIN, dial 759 and enter the wrong PIN three times — Sky will text you a temporary PIN, which you can then use to set a new one via the same settings menu.

How to Turn Off Sky Mobile Voicemail

To stop calls diverting to voicemail on Sky Mobile:

• Cancel all diverts: Dial ##002# and press call. This removes every conditional divert, including voicemail.
• Via the voicemail menu: Dial 759 and use the settings options to manage when calls divert.

• From your Sky Mobile in the UK: Calls to 759 are free on all Sky Mobile plans.
• Roaming: In Sky's inclusive roaming destinations, checking voicemail comes out of your allowance; elsewhere, standard roaming rates apply. Dial +44 7488 222 000 with your PIN if 759 will not connect abroad.
• From another phone: Calling your own mobile number is charged at the other phone's standard rate to a UK mobile.

Sky Mobile Voicemail Not Working?

1. Restart your phone — the quickest fix for most network glitches.
2. Check you are dialling 759, not 901. Sky Mobile uses O2's masts but not O2's voicemail number.
3. Reset a forgotten PIN — dial 759 and enter the wrong PIN three times to trigger a temporary PIN by text.
4. Check your signal — voicemail needs a network connection; try again in an area with better coverage.

Business Users on Sky Mobile

Sky Mobile is a consumer network, so its voicemail has no business features — no voicemail-to-email, shared mailboxes or custom department greetings. If your business needs those, a business voicemail setup on a business mobile plan or hosted VoIP system is the better fit.
