EE Voicemail Number

The EE voicemail number is 150 when calling from your EE mobile. This is a free call on all EE tariffs, including pay-as-you-go. If you are calling from a different phone or from abroad, dial +44 7953 222222 instead — you will need to enter your mobile number and PIN to access your messages remotely.

How to Set Up EE Voicemail

EE voicemail is usually active by default on new SIMs. If it is not working or you need to set it up again:

1. Dial 150 from your EE phone and press call.
2. Follow the automated prompts to create a PIN and record a personal greeting.
3. Once complete, callers who reach your voicemail will hear your greeting and can leave a message.

If you have a pay-as-you-go SIM, make sure you have enough credit before dialling. Calls to 150 are free from your EE handset.

How to Listen to EE Voicemail

Press and hold the 1 key on your phone keypad, or dial 150. You will hear your new messages first, followed by options to replay, save or delete each one. From abroad, call +44 7953 222222 and enter your PIN when prompted.

How to Turn Off EE Voicemail

There are two ways to deactivate voicemail on EE:

• Cancel all diverts: Dial ##002# and press call. This removes all conditional call forwarding, including voicemail.
• Cancel no-answer divert only: Dial ##61# and press call. This stops calls going to voicemail when you do not answer but keeps other diverts intact.

How to Change Your EE Voicemail Greeting

Dial 150, then press 3 for greeting options. You can record a new personal greeting or switch back to the default EE greeting at any time. A clear, professional greeting is especially important for business users.

Visual Voicemail on iPhone

If you use an iPhone on EE, Visual Voicemail lets you see a list of messages and play them in any order without dialling in. To enable it, open the Phone app and tap the Voicemail tab. Follow the on-screen instructions to set a password. Visual Voicemail uses data rather than a phone call, so it works well on Wi-Fi.

EE Voicemail Costs

Dialling 150 to check voicemail is free from your EE phone within the UK, on both pay monthly and pay-as-you-go plans. However, there are costs to be aware of:

• UK calls: Free to dial 150 from your EE handset.
• Roaming: Listening to voicemail abroad is charged as a standard international call. Rates vary by country — check EE's roaming page before you travel.
• Remote access: Calling +44 7953 222222 from a landline or another mobile is charged at your provider's standard rate.

To avoid roaming charges, consider turning voicemail off before travelling by dialling ##002#.

EE Voicemail Not Working?

If your EE voicemail is not working, try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Restart your phone — this resolves most temporary network issues.
2. Re-enable voicemail — dial **004*+447953222222# and press call to reset the voicemail divert.
3. Check your signal — voicemail setup requires a network connection. Move to an area with better coverage.
4. Check your PIN — if you have forgotten your voicemail PIN, call EE customer services on 150 and ask them to reset it.
5. Update carrier settings — on iPhone, go to Settings > General > About. If an update is available, install it.
