Three Voicemail Number

The Three voicemail number is 123 when calling from your Three mobile. This is a free call on all Three plans. To access your messages from another phone, call your own Three mobile number — when the voicemail greeting plays, press * and enter your PIN.

How to Set Up Three Voicemail

Voicemail is enabled by default on Three. If you need to set it up or reconfigure it:

1. Dial 123 from your Three handset.
2. Follow the automated prompts to set a PIN and record a greeting.
3. Your voicemail is now active and ready to take messages.

Calling 123 is free from your Three phone.

How to Listen to Three Voicemail

Press and hold 1 or dial 123. New messages play first, and you can replay, save or delete each one using the keypad. If you are abroad, call your own Three number from any phone and press * during the greeting to enter your PIN.

How to Turn Off Three Voicemail

Three offers two methods to deactivate voicemail:

• By text: Send VOICEMAIL OFF to 30044. You will receive a confirmation text once voicemail has been disabled.
• By dialler code: Dial ##002# and press call. This cancels all conditional call forwarding including voicemail.

Changing Your Three Voicemail Greeting

Dial 123 and follow the menu to the greeting settings. You can record a personal message or revert to the standard Three greeting. Keep your greeting short and professional, especially if you use the number for work.

Three Voicemail and Go Roam

Three's Go Roam destinations let you use your allowance abroad at no extra cost, and that includes checking voicemail by dialling 123. In non-Go Roam countries, charges may apply. Consider turning voicemail off before you travel to avoid surprise bills.

Visual Voicemail on Three

iPhone users on Three can use Visual Voicemail through the Phone app. Open the Voicemail tab, set a password and your messages will appear in a list. Android support varies by handset — check the Three website or app for details.

Three Voicemail Costs

Here is what you need to know about Three voicemail charges:

• UK calls: Dialling 123 from your Three phone is free on all plans.
• Go Roam destinations: Checking voicemail is included in your allowance at no extra cost in Go Roam countries.
• Non-Go Roam countries: Listening to voicemail abroad is charged as an international call. Check Three's roaming page for rates.
• Remote access: Calling your own number from a landline or another mobile is charged at your provider's standard rate.

To avoid unexpected charges, turn voicemail off before travelling to non-Go Roam destinations by texting VOICEMAIL OFF to 30044.

Three Voicemail Not Working?

If your Three voicemail is not working, try these troubleshooting steps:

1. Restart your phone — this resolves most temporary network issues.
2. Re-enable voicemail — text VOICEMAIL ON to 30044, then test by calling yourself from another phone.
3. Check your signal — voicemail setup requires a network connection. Move to an area with better coverage.
4. Reset your PIN — dial 123 and follow the prompts to change your PIN. If that does not work, contact Three on 333 from your handset.
5. Check call diverts — dial *#004# to see where your calls are being forwarded. If voicemail is not listed, text VOICEMAIL ON to 30044.
