Vodafone has long been the network larger UK organisations default to, and since it merged with Three UK to form VodafoneThree it is also the group’s only brand for business customers. That changes the calculation for smaller firms too: a Vodafone business SIM now roams onto Three’s network automatically in the growing number of places where that signal is better. This guide sets out what Vodafone Business sells to companies with fewer than ten connections in 2026 — every published SIM-only price, what the Plus and Premier tiers add, roaming and fair-use rules, price rises and how the network is changing — so you can judge a quote properly.

VodafoneThree: what the merger means for business customers

Vodafone UK and Three UK completed their merger in 2025 to form VodafoneThree, with an £11 billion network investment plan behind it. The practical consequences so far:

• One business brand. VodafoneThree has said Vodafone is its only brand for business customers. Three Business is still trading and says existing plans are unchanged for now, but new business propositions are being built under the Vodafone name.
• Network sharing is live. Using Multi-Operator Core Network (MOCN) technology, Vodafone and Three customers automatically connect to whichever of the two networks has the best available signal. VodafoneThree reported more than 10,000 enabled sites by April 2026, removing around 16,500 km² of not-spots — roughly ten times the area of London. No settings or plan changes are needed, and there is no extra charge.
• 5G standalone roadmap. The combined company targets 5G standalone coverage for 99% of the UK population by 2030 and 99.96% by 2034. Vodafone markets its current standalone service as 5G Ultra, included on Red, Plus and Premier plans.
• Rollout is gradual. Not every mast is enabled yet, so coverage checkers still differ by location. If a specific site matters, ask us for a multi-network coverage check before you sign.

Vodafone business SIM-only plans and prices (September 2026)

Vodafone’s published small-business SIM-only range on 24-month terms, ex VAT. “Small business” here means accounts with fewer than ten Vodafone connections; larger accounts are quoted. Standard plans carry a 100Mbps download cap; Plus and Premier plans are uncapped.

Every tier also comes in a “+ Entertainment” version (for example Unlimited + Entertainment at £35.83, Unlimited Plus + Entertainment at £43.33) that adds a streaming or media subscription for the 24-month term. Few businesses need it; it is worth knowing so you don’t pay for it by accident.

Multibuy: buy five to nine 24-month Unlimited SIMs together and Vodafone prices each additional plan at £11.67 a month, up to nine SIMs per account. For a team of six or more on unlimited data this is the figure to compare with O2 and Three, not the single-SIM list price.

Standard, Plus and Premier: what the tiers actually add

• Standard plans (1GB to 200GB and Unlimited): 5G at no extra cost, but download speeds are capped at 100Mbps. That is ample for email, Teams and cloud apps on a phone; it matters if the SIM is a laptop’s primary connection or you routinely move large files.
• Red plans (50GB, 150GB): 5G Ultra ready, no 100Mbps cap stated, promotional pricing that undercuts the standard tiers at the time of checking.
• Plus plans (30GB Plus, Unlimited Plus): uncapped speeds, 5G Ultra, and inclusive roaming in 52 European destinations. This is the tier for anyone who travels in Europe more than a couple of days a month.
• Premier plans (Unlimited Premier and 30GB Premier): everything in Plus, Speed Boost (prioritised speeds up to twice the standard experience) and Xtra inclusive roaming in 84 worldwide destinations.

Unlimited plans are subject to Vodafone’s acceptable use policy, and roaming on all plans carries a 25GB monthly fair-use limit. Our unlimited business SIM comparison puts the 100Mbps cap and the fair-use limits side by side with EE, O2 and Three.

Vodafone business handset plans

Vodafone Business sells handsets as a device plan (typically 36 months, with an upfront payment) paired with an airtime plan (typically 24 months), each with its own April increase. Because the device element depends on the model, we keep verified handset figures on the device guides rather than here:

• Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra — Vodafone Business device-plan and airtime prices, Knox and Intune set-up.
• iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max — current Vodafone Business pricing and Apple Business enrolment.
• Galaxy Z Fold8 and Fold8 Ultra — Vodafone Business 36-month handset plans.

At the time of checking, Vodafone’s small-business offers page was advertising up to £300 off airtime over 36 months on the iPhone 17 Pro with a 100Mbps Unlimited plan, and the 24-month Unlimited SIM at £21.67 for 1–9-employee businesses; both are dated promotions, so ask for the current figure. Business features worth knowing

• 5G Ultra (standalone 5G) on Red, Plus and Premier plans, with VodafoneThree targeting 99% population coverage of standalone 5G by 2030.
• Automatic access to Three’s network where MOCN is enabled, improving indoor and rural coverage without any change to your plan.
• eSIM on compatible handsets, so staff can carry a business line alongside a personal one — see our business eSIM guide.
• Static IP and IoT SIMs for CCTV, routers and remote access are sold through Vodafone’s business team and partners on quote; they are not part of the published small-business range above.
• V-Hub, Vodafone’s free digital advice hub for small businesses, remains available to customers and non-customers alike.
• Accounts with ten or more connections are quoted individually and can include pooled data and account-level tools; tell us your line count and usage and we will price both routes.

Roaming on Vodafone business plans

• Standard and Red plans: no inclusive roaming. Using your allowance abroad incurs Vodafone’s daily roaming charge or requires a roaming extra, so on these tiers travellers should budget separately.
• Plus plans: inclusive roaming in 52 European destinations.
• Premier plans: Xtra inclusive roaming in 84 worldwide destinations.
• Fair use: 25GB of roaming data per month on all plans, including unlimited. Beyond that Vodafone charges for additional data.

The arithmetic is simple: Unlimited Plus costs £7.50 a month more than standard Unlimited at list. If a user spends more than a handful of days a month in Europe, Plus pays for itself and removes bill shock. Our business data roaming guide compares the four networks’ approaches.

Contract terms and annual price rises

• Terms: 30-day rolling, 12, 24 and 36 months on SIM-only; 24-month prices are shown above and are the lowest.
• Annual increase: on 1 April each year during the minimum term, the monthly price rises by a fixed £2.09 (ex VAT) on sole-trader plans and £3.01 (ex VAT) on limited-company plans. Vodafone publishes the resulting prices for 2027 and 2028 next to each plan — standard Unlimited at £29.17 becomes £31.25 in April 2027 and £33.33 in April 2028.
• Out-of-bundle charges rise each April by January’s CPI plus 3.9%.
• Legacy contracts signed under Vodafone’s older terms still rise by CPI plus 3.9% on the plan price; the April 2026 increase was 7.3% (CPI 3.4% plus 3.9%).
• Vodafone’s website also lists a £1.50 fixed increase on certain business plans sold with a stated fixed rate; the pre-contract summary you receive at the point of sale is the document to check.

Because business contracts are outside Ofcom’s 2025 ban on inflation-linked rises, always get the increase figure in writing and add years two and three before you compare Vodafone with a fixed-price quote. Our spend cap guide covers the other controls you can put on a business account.

Vodafone vs EE, O2 and Three for business (unlimited SIM-only, 24 months, ex VAT)

On list price Vodafone’s standard unlimited plan is the most expensive of the four and the only one with a speed cap, but it is also the one most often discounted, and the Multibuy price of £11.67 per additional SIM changes the picture for teams of five to nine. Who Vodafone business plans suit — and who should look elsewhere

Choose Vodafone if your people work across rural or mixed-coverage areas where access to both Vodafone’s and Three’s masts is a real advantage; you have five to nine unlimited lines and can use Multibuy; your travellers need inclusive roaming beyond Europe (Premier’s 84 destinations); or you want one converged supplier for mobile, broadband and IoT as the group builds out.

Look elsewhere if you want the lowest unlimited list price with no speed cap (O2 Classic at £17.50, or Three’s current Go Roam offer); you are a limited company and the £3.01 annual rise over three years erodes any headline saving; or your users need uncapped speed on a mid-size allowance, where EE’s 50GB and 100GB Essential plans are cheaper than Vodafone’s Plus tiers.

How to get the best Vodafone business deal

1. Work out your entity type first. Sole-trader and limited-company plans rise by different fixed amounts; after three April increases a limited-company line is paying £2.76 a month more than the equivalent sole-trader line.
2. Count your unlimited lines. Five or more on 24 months unlocks Multibuy pricing; fewer than five, and a promotional single-SIM price or an O2 or Three quote may be sharper.
3. Only put travellers on Plus or Premier. Everyone else stays on a standard or Red plan.
