EE APN Settings

Quick Answer

The EE APN is everywhere. Enter this in Settings → Mobile Data → APN to fix data and MMS issues. Leave username and password blank.

EE APN Settings (2026)

If your EE mobile data or MMS has stopped working, the most likely cause is missing or incorrect APN settings. This commonly happens after a factory reset, SIM swap, phone upgrade, or switching to EE from another network. Below are the correct EE APN settings to get your data and picture messaging working again.

When Do You Need to Change EE APN Settings?

EE normally sends APN settings to your phone automatically when you insert a SIM. But manual entry is needed in these situations:

  • After a factory reset — the auto-configuration message may not arrive again.
  • New or replacement SIM — particularly if you've ported your number from Three, Vodafone, or O2.
  • Unlocked or imported phone — devices not purchased through EE may not receive the carrier profile.
  • After a major OS update — Android and iOS updates can occasionally clear APN profiles.
  • MMS not sending or receiving — picture messages need the MMSC and proxy fields configured correctly.
  • Mobile data works on Wi-Fi but not 4G/5G — this almost always points to a missing APN.

How to Enter EE APN Settings on Android

  1. Open Settings on your Android phone.
  2. Tap Connections (Samsung) or Network & Internet (Pixel/stock Android).
  3. Tap Mobile Networks.
  4. Tap Access Point Names.
  5. Tap the + icon or Add to create a new APN.
  6. Enter every field from the EE settings table above. Leave Username and Password blank.
  7. Tap the three-dot menu and select Save.
  8. Select the new EE APN from the list.
  9. Restart your phone to apply the changes.

How to Enter EE APN Settings on iPhone

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Mobile Data (or Cellular).
  3. Tap Mobile Data Network.
  4. Under Mobile Data, enter:
    APN: everywhere
    Username: (leave blank)
    Password: (leave blank)
  5. Scroll down to MMS and enter:
    MMSC: http://mms/servlets/mms
    MMS Proxy: 149.254.201.135:8080
  6. Go back — settings save automatically on iPhone.
  7. Toggle Airplane Mode on and off, or restart your phone.

Note: If you cannot see the Mobile Data Network option on your iPhone, EE may manage your APN settings automatically via a carrier profile. Go to Settings > General > About and wait a few seconds — if a carrier settings update is available, you'll be prompted to install it.

EE APN Settings Not Working? Try These Fixes

Entered the settings above but still can't connect? Work through these steps in order:

  1. Restart your phone — this forces the device to re-register on the EE network with the new APN.
  2. Toggle Airplane Mode — turn it on, wait 10 seconds, then turn it off.
  3. Delete duplicate APN profiles — multiple EE entries can cause conflicts. Keep only the one with the correct settings.
  4. Reset network settings — on Android: Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings. On iPhone: Settings → General → Transfer or Reset → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
  5. Check your data allowance — dial *#100# or use the My EE app to confirm your plan is active and has data remaining.
  6. Re-seat the SIM card — power off, remove the SIM, wait 30 seconds, reinsert and power on.
  7. Request new settings from EE — text SETTINGS to 150 from your EE phone to receive a fresh auto-configuration message.
  8. Contact EE support — call 150 from your EE phone or 07953 966 250 from another line.

EE Business SIM APN Settings

EE business SIMs typically use the same APN (everywhere) as consumer plans. However, some EE business and enterprise accounts use dedicated APNs for corporate traffic management:

  • EE Business standard — use everywhere (same as consumer).
  • EE Corporate / Managed — your IT team may provide a custom APN such as corporate.eemobile.com for routing through a corporate gateway.
  • If you manage multiple business devices, MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions can push APN settings to all handsets automatically.
