O2 APN Settings

Lost your mobile data connection on O2? Incorrect APN settings are one of the most common causes. Below you'll find the correct O2 APN settings for both pay monthly and pay-as-you-go customers.

O2 APN Configuration (Pay Monthly)

O2 APN for Pay As You Go (PAYG)

If you're on O2 Pay As You Go, use payandgo.o2.co.uk as the APN instead of mobile.o2.co.uk. All other settings remain the same.

How to Enter O2 APN Settings on Android

1. Open Settings on your Android phone.
2. Tap Connections (Samsung) or Network & Internet (Pixel/stock Android).
3. Tap Mobile Networks.
4. Tap Access Point Names.
5. Tap the + icon to add a new APN.
6. Enter the O2 settings from the table above. Use mobile.o2.co.uk for pay monthly or payandgo.o2.co.uk for PAYG.
7. Tap the three-dot menu and select Save.
8. Select the new O2 Internet APN from the list.
9. Restart your phone to apply the changes.

How to Enter O2 APN Settings on iPhone

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Mobile Data (or Cellular).
3. Tap Mobile Data Network.
4. Under Mobile Data, enter:
   APN: mobile.o2.co.uk (or payandgo.o2.co.uk for PAYG)
   Username: o2web
   Password: password
5. Scroll down to MMS and enter:
   MMSC: http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
   MMS Proxy: 82.132.254.1:8080
6. Go back — settings save automatically on iPhone.
7. Toggle Airplane Mode on and off, or restart your phone.

Note: If you cannot see Mobile Data Network in your iPhone settings, O2 may manage your APN automatically. Go to Settings > General > About to check for a carrier settings update.
